This 15'' (13.5 viewable) CRT isn't really cutting it anymore.  I'm probably looking at a 19'', 8ms or lower.  The price difference between 17'' and 19'' on NewEgg is minimal.  I like to run my games at 1024x768.  Looking to spend an absolute max of $230.  Can you guys recommend any?

viewsonic is a good brand and it looks like newegg is selling that one with free shipping and a $20 rebate so it's <$200... 12/13 good reviews... seems decent...

What does contrast ratio mean?  Such as 500:1 or 700:1

how small your DOTs are. The higher 700:1 is better and more crisp. I have seen them 1000:1 Mine is a 550:1 and its nice.
