SOLVED!/BF2 Router port 7712

This port is not allowing some Linsys users access to our 32 player server. Even with port forwarding on and DMZ as well the computer cannot see the server. When bypassing the router and connecting directly to the cable modem this issue dissapears so it is deffinatley the router. Anyone have any ideas around this?
Linksys WRT54G Wireless 4 port Router Version 1.1 (Updated to 4.20)
2 hardwired and 2 wireless connections. Each computer when connected through the router will not see our game server nor BF2cc cannot log in to admin. Each computer CAN log in to other game servers with no issue as long as that game server is not on port 7712

I use the same router TK, with 2 hardwired, and 1 wireless conn. and I can get in there, admin too. Wierd.

Wow, is your router a v1.1? They haven't sold those in a few years. I think it is up to v5.2 that are being sold now with that "Speed boost" or something like that.

v4.0 v5.0 has problems so I asked the clerk to dig through all the boxes and find me a v4.0

Ya same router just v 4 IC
Well, I may just go and get that new router they have. Might see what Netgear has today. I was not a big fan o0f Netgear of D-Link a few years back. I am sure they have come along ways today.

Here is the responce from Tech support TK
They were most likely having problems with the firewall we had installed on the
game machine. We are in the process of removing the firewalls now. Please give
it until 5pm eastern tomorrow and then see if it works. If you are still having
problems we will look at why.

Could have been blocking an IP range you were in maybe? All i can think of.

Yes, that has to be it. - I didnt get into the game to test it last night but did finally get in to BF2CC which pretty much tells me it is working now. Thanks Kitty, it actually sounded like it was deffinately their end here huh?
