Belief that prayer does work.

A couple of you know what my family is going through with my next to youngest son, Connor, for those of you who do not, I will explain.

Connor was having serious breathing difficulties last year. We took him for a chest X-ray to rule out pneumonia. The X-ray showed that he had severe scoliosis( curvature of the spine) and sitis inversi - his internal organs were reversed. Luckily for him the x-ray tech goofed and they put the side marker on the wrong side whch meant that his organs were were they were suppossed to be, well almost all of them anyway. We had an ultrasound done at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. It showed that all of his organs except his heart were in their proper place. However, his heart was shifted to the center of his chest due to the scoliosis. He was 16 months old and had a 32 degree curvature of his spine. Over the next few months, his condition worsened. His asthma got worse, he was having difficulty walking, and recently, he has been having loss of feeling to his legs. We completed the paperwork to have him examined by Shriner's because our doctors told us that they were our last hope for him because he should not have even been walking at this point and one day we would wake up and he would not be able to walk. They also broke the new to us that if the condition continued to worsen, his heart functions would start to be affected as well. We had alot of people praying for him.
We just got the results of his most recent X-ray. His body is fighting the scoliosis. He has overdeveloped muscle structure in his back now that has significantly decreased the curvature. While they are not making any promises, this is a very good sign that he will improve. He will not be able to keep up with other kids because he will still have dificulty and if he over does it, he may still lose feeling from time to time because of swelling. The importanant thing is his is slowly getting better. Because he is a fighter and because, I believe, of the prayers that have been made for him, my wife and I once again have hope for our son where we had only tears, fears, and sleepless nights.
While not all prayers are answered in the ways we would like, I do belive that prayer works and my son is proof.

Morbius, there are some powerful prayers from this membership. 
He hears us, even before we speak, just as he new us before we ever were.  There are no words a human can come up with that would describe the awsome way He works.  Your child is in our prayers just as your family is.
