gunner fisrt verfy the driver number in device manager..if it is legit meaning the most current , then ensure razer is set up to start with windows, see the screens in your taskbar it should show it..see first screen.

then see if razer is active in the system run msconfig? ?see if it is active if not activate it from the start menu > all programs see below

lastly go to control panel see if the razer icon is there.

after this if your still stuck ill try to be on christmas night.

S!.....merry xmas.

GGGGGRRRRRR? upload denied damn it...sry gunner cant load the images to this board....check ur email ill send them there .

**** done images sent to gunner_meow

Yes, you need to remove any other instance of other mouse drivers BEFORE you install the Razor software.  That doesnt mean you can't plug in the Razor mouse, Windows will find it.  Then install the software after you have removed the other drivers.

sounds familiar gunner its a bad driver install....

1,make sure never to install from a rar or zip,1st extract the file to the desktop.
2,rid the pc of all previous drivers
3,when you install be carefull to select "start with windows" if asked
4,current driver is 5.09
5,in the diamond back control panel make sure "show on screen is checked"
6,plz tell me what you did right before it stopped working?, windows update?,new drivers?,vid card driver?,virus scan?spyware scan?
try to remember any action taken leading up to it stopping its function.

gunner it is an easy fix:

first thigs first un install all razer drivers!

manually delete all razer folders in C: drive

go to razer website dwnld driver 5,09 for diamondback---open the zip or rar and sit the EXE on your desktop.

reboot ur pc...

unplug the usb wire for the mouse during the reboot.

when windows has loaded up wait a bit then plug the usb back in ( not into a hub) but the pc.

windows will see the mouse and restore HID functionalty to the mouse.

now run the rzer EXE that u have sitted on your desktop.

during the install it might ask if u want it to run at startup --choose yes.

it may also ask to run in tray say yes.

it will also ask you have it plugged before driver is installed.

reboot and run msconfig

make sure  "RAZERTRAY.EXE" is set to run at start

and "RAZEHID.EXE"   "RAZEROFA"  are set to run at start

this should do it , once its up go into the mouse panel and set ur keys and buttons and set ur on the fly sensitivity .

if this dont work gunner i will get on with you teusday night 9 or 10 pm eastern???

let me know.

I think i had a similar problem when i first installed mine, what TK said is what fixed it. I had to uninstall ALL my joysticks and other mouse, logitec, nostromos, microsoft, thrustmaster, etc. types of drivers. and then install the razor, and then reinstall any other stuff like my joystick after.
