yeah i had spent 250 for a ps2 i don't use... can't say i'd use the ps3 if it got one

yes the ps3 is overpriced,but then it always is at launch, it always becomes the hottest xmas item and the prices sky rockett.

as for sony , im no fan of sony both in real world trade ethic and as far as there technology is concerned they are far from elite ...the days of format tinkering are still comming from sony,
betamax,,,dyvx minidisc.Dat..ect, and now blu ray, sony always wants to define a format and always ignites an industry war..and all for naught cus they always loose.

the xbox 360 however is a drastic and compelling device..the online game play is actually far far far superior to pc gaming, thats because is costs you 50 bucks a year for the live service

i detected no lag , easy to use and informative stat tracking, in game friends lists and voice over chat, an extravagant marketplace for downloaded content. the lag issue is somewhat defeated
by the fact everyone is using the same machine, with the same specs .

i wont go out and say its better overall than pc , but the xbox 360 is definatly nipping at the heels of pc gaming, and with HD gaming for the masses in stead of just those with the biggest card.

for now i will say the pc is the best gaming machine---but the 360 online mechanisms are so far superior to the pc is not even funny, give it a try...the one big question are tactical shooters
and game controllers but then its up to the user to either adapt or hate it.

Its simple.  People are cattle.  They start the frenzy with little tidbits about the system and then those who are going to profit from the ebay bonanza feed it.  The herd comes stampeding in and tries to be the first ones there.  I will wait a few months because my kids love the ps2 then make a descision.  I am NOT going to pay some ridiculous price for a gaming rig(the games maybe) but not for the rig lol.

I totally disagree with instinct I have played the Xbox 360 and totally think it sucks u know what. The PS systems U don't have to pay anything at all to play online. The games to me anyways are way better, The controller layout is better and easier to use. Most Xbox games require u to use the stupid analog sticks to play and that sucks. I would totally buy the ps3 before the 360. Just my opinions though.
