been looking for a motherboard for my amd and my agp that will support my sata 300
right now it has to run at 150 on my asus a8v deluxe.
I can't find anything from a reputable mobo manuf.
theres one from asrock, has some good and bad reviews:
http://www.asrock.com/product/939Dual-VSTA.htm
with this i can go to pcie later and also a socket am2 processor later
I can't find any of these for sale anywhere, new egg is out  of stock.
it's only 66.00 makes me wonder. I'm seriously thinking of trying one out if i can get one

hmm, I was just reading something, they are saying the sata 300 isn't any faster than sata 150. maybe I should keep the mobo i have if thats the case.

You probably won't knotice the difference.  Keep in mind it can only transfer data as fast as it can read it.
