The over-organized church

The over-organized church does it again.  They allowed and even maybe tried to hide pedophiles in the ranks of Priests. They will pay out millions which in no way will give them absolution on what they did.

This is not just the Catholic church, but many denominations.  No, not all have child molesters in their ranks but all are over organized. When you trade business and money for the foundations of Christianity then stuff like this happens.

Too many huge buildings and family life centers; not enough feeding the poor and helping teens make it through a difficult life.  Too many 117,000 dollar sound systems and not getting the Word out.

Too much telling people what to do, who to vote for, when to pray..not enough telling them they are a child of God and the Good news of Jesus Christ.   Too much rock and roll and country in the music and not enough God.

In Christ's day the Religious leaders were all religion and no love.  Jesus said this himself.  We are doing this again.  The world looks at the church and finds it too worldly, to business like.  Way too money oriented and not enough love orientated.

I can only use my small voice to tell you this is not Christ's church. That there are caring, devoted, loving people in those Churches and in the world following the Truth and Light.  There are churches out there that will accept you and make you a part and you don't have to be a member of a country club.  Non-judging, non-condescending churches and people that want to help.

People grounded in Faith and not depending on the bottom line.. they depend on Christ and His Truth.

Dang! You go girl

It is exactly that, high living and total dog eat dog in the ranks of churches that spend way to little time doing the work they should be doing.  The church is in yourself, not a gold laden fancy glassed building.  It is within ourselves!
