if any of you are familiar with xbox live, one of the huge draws is the acheivement scale, basically awards for certain hard to accomplish feats in a certain game.

these awards contribute to an overall gamerscore* a sort of stat tracking feature , well valve has begun to implement its own acheivements list and games that support it with post them to your steam profile page , the debut of the EXCELLENT Orange Box by valve has kicked off the stat race , hopefully we will see this flesh out and mature.
