All looks good.  I know of 5 or 6 of us that are race fans, and i am one of them.  Competition runs high in this squad and so i am all for a little racing.  I spend tons of hours on my NFS Underground and Underground 2.

I played the demo- pretty cool. Took me awhile to get used to driving with the arrow keys, but I managed to win the Classics race, and now I'm on the Mercedes racer.

I am a huge muscle car fan. I was really into motor city online. Huge racing sim that took alot of time and effort to get right. I'm up for a nice racing sim if there are any. Rfactor is supposed to be comeing out with a mco mod. I havn't heard anything else about it. But when it comes out. I will be afk for a few years. :)  Just let me know what sim to get and i'll give it a  try. I really like the whole build your own car from ground up. And when i say build your car, I don't mean go and get a rear end and a tran-e and motor that they give you. I mean build your car from ground up. Diff parts for your car, build you motor from the oil pan up. Don't get the right spring shock combo, your car doesn't take the corner right kinda sim. Oh yeah, Thats what i'm talking about. Trial and error when it comes to things like that. If there are any sims out there like that, then count me in. MCO was and is the only racing game that did this. And it was awsome!!!!

Lets get it down to a game and I'm in!!   All this racing talk made me think of this joke!!

I'll give it a try.  I know it's an arcade game, not a sim, don't know if I'll like it.  I'm not real big on arcade games as they tend to favor the twitch players at the expense of the smart players.  I do need to acertain that it does not have StarForce in it before I install it.

Crazy, I don't think you are ever going to find another sim like that.  While rFactor lets you manipulate a lot of the mechanicals in the car, you do not select the pieces.  You do ned to set your shock rebound rates, spring rates, tire preasures, gearing for each gear, and final drive ratio to mention jusy a few of the three pages of setup detail available. 

NAGT mod with Vette's Vipers, etc. is due by spring.  The Aussie V-8 racing mod is about the closest thing to muscle car racing.

If you haven't all ready, try the rFactor demo.  it will give you a feel for all the things you can change in the cars setup.

All this and the best netcode I've seen so far, in any game.

Sorry Codemasters the publisher of TOCA uses StarForce.  I will not be installing this game or demo on my computer.

can't get my joystick to work the way it should in toca

is it a digital or analog pad?...because mine has a toggle, i needed to toggle it to analog then it ran fine.

pad is a saitek p880
