If there is anything I can get from this is the fact that people give up too quickly.

The shooter gave up hope of course. But he learned it from his parents for one. They gave up on him.  I agree with tough love at times. In this day when everything is disposable we give up on our marriages, our employees, our families, and our children. . 

I am not naive enough to think love fixes everything, but I think we give up on people too often, for things that are not that bad at times. Maybe we just dont have the skills to cope, I don't know.

This poor young man and the poor families that are now part of his life and death, we need to pray for them and all the abondoned people around us.
