This Saturday, at 8 PM EST, we will be hosting a run through
Urgoz's Warren, one of the two elite missions in Factions. Party size is 12, signups are first come first serve. This will be a normal mode, Ursan-based run. I'm not sure of the total time required, however I estimate around 3 hours. In order to have access to Urgoz's Warren, you must have the character you intend on playing with up to House Zu Heltzer, where you can then use a Passage Scroll obtained from a scroll trader to travel to the Warren. I recommend reading the Wiki article linked above as it will give you a good idea of what to expect.

HB Monk 2: 16 Heal/4 Prot Minimum/X Divine monk. HB, Heal Party, Ethereal Light, Dwayna's Kiss, Seed of Life OR Healing Seed, Optional Hex Removal Skill, Aegis, Res Chant. This character is responsible for raising the BIP when he dies.
LoD Mimic: 16 Heal/4 Prot Minimum/X Divine monk. LoD, Arcane Mimicry, Heal Party, Ethereal Light, Dwayna's Kiss, Extinguish, Aegis, Rebirth.
BIP/Support: 13 Blood/9 Prot/13 Soul Reaping N/Mo. BIP, Masochism, Blood Renewal OR Feel No Pain, Necrotic Traversal, Order of Pain OR Ebon Battle Standard of Wisdom (dependent on Vanguard title level), Extinguish, Aegis, Rebirth. This character will be switching between 1hp and full health room to room, hence a "55" armor set is needed in addition to a normal armor set.
StrategyUrgoz's Warren is a difficult area filled with large mobs and pop-ups. It consists of a series of rooms each with their own environment effects. Also, it is a condition heavy area, hence the multiple Extinguishes. There are 4 copies of Aegis in the party, each with 7 second durations, totaling 28 seconds. These should be coordinated and cycled during combat to give the party a near permanent 50% chance to block attacks. This will help mitigate damage from the very large mobs encountered here. Careful pulling is key in order to avoid over aggro, triggering unwanted pop-ups, leaks, and the traps that many of these mobs put down.
What to BringDeath Penalty removers, individual buffs, res scrolls. Party effect consumables: Essence and Armor only, Grail will affect the BIP's ability to stay at 1hp. Stoneroot keys (available in the Urgoz's Warren location) or lockpicks, this is where you get Zodiac weapons from.
Final ThoughtsAround the start time, we will gather in MEOW guild hall to verify everyone has their builds set.
