my wife and i have been trying to have kids for about 6 years now.. and have tried everything but IVF and adoption. we went through all the classes and home studies for adoption though, about 3 years ago and have been on the waiting list.
yesterday(Tuesday), the department of human services called and told my wife that they had a 2 year old little girl that needed needed a permanent home. she was originally adopted from guatemala, along with server other kids. of course her parents were arrested for some things i wont say. it looks like all parental will be taken away, and as of yet, no relatives have shown up. she comes to live with us friday.
so just pray for us please, this is going to be a big transition for the wife and i - going from no kids to a two year old.
my wife and i both are so excited and scared to death.

Congrats. Look on the bright side from a Dad of 3. You should be pretty much thru diapers. The terrible 2's are nothing, especially compared to the 3's. Good luck and god bless.

WooHoo. Like Bush said, they will say and do anything you do. And their hearing is way better than ours. Also, the mess created increases expontially ompared to the need to get out the door to go somewhere. Cherish every moment.. they grow up quick. Real Happy for ya. Like previously stated, any advice needed, we have a total of over a century of child care colectively.. think some even have Grandkids (remember: grankids get spoiled so they will reak the same havoc you did on your parents. read it on the back page of the kids manual)  Cheers, Kelly |
