My baby needs your help!

M baby 16mo has  Salmonella Typhimurium. So it has been hell with work and  trying to take care of him, we were at the ER his temp was up to 104 and was in the  starting stages of heat stroke.
he is doing ok, his fever has been up and down. It looks like he got it from the
little Debby's Snack peanut butter crackers that the fda recalled, we had a  lot of them as he loves them.  When he 1st got sick, we gave him the crackers hoping that he can keep it down,(not knowing it was making it worse.) So I feel like crap, I was reading last night on this and found that 6 baby's have died so far from this. Looking at what the mom and dads were saying what the baby went through be for they died, it was all the same, 104+ temp, shakes like a seizure then death. My baby was going through all of that, if my wife did not know what to do(tipped bath), to get his temp down the Dr. said he might have died. I was at work when he was going through this, the wife called me I told her I was on my way. I drove over 100mph 37 miles to get home. I had to stop for gas 1st or there was no way to get to  the ER and back, the trouble is there was only .44 cents on my card. I prayed and asked to let me get gas, I tried 2 cards with no luck on the 3rd card it let me get gas. I filled my tank, said thank you jesus and took my kid to the ER. Keep in mind I do not have overdraft this is a account that if the money is not there you dont get it. so I know I was helped. Please keep my baby in your thoughts as he is not out of the woods, the DR said it might take 10 days for this to clear out of him, and if temp gets up there to bring him back. So far he has been lucky only a temp of 101 (if you call that luck) sense getting back from the ER.

God in Heaven.  You are Lord over all the earth and everything in it.  Please be with this child and his parents.  We ask your healing and we ask that you guide the doctors.  We ask for a miracle or two it it is needed.  Thanks you for the gas and thank you for the quick thinking. We ask for your Peace and strength also, Lord.  Let us as a community be in prayer and focus on this one child.  There are man hurting and needing You on this forum, we know you are with us for where two or more of us Believers are gathered there you are also.

God Bless you and your Family.  In times of need, wether you know it or not God is there and was with your wife and kept her calm and helped her get the baby in the bath and call you and guide you home safely and take care of your family.  We have been in your shoes with the seizures and the temps of 104 and heat stroke so bad that your baby tries to cry but no tears are able to come out.  It is not your fault, and you are not bad parents.  You are there for your son and you love him.  We will continue to pray and send good wishes your way.  Keep up the good work and keep us posted on that tough little guy.  God Bless.
