Hello there, this is NOT a issue here, there is a issue in some other forum, where a few can not reply, however there permissions are set reply to own and any topic. and simple machines forums are no help. Any one have any ideas?

You can over ride permissions individualy or as a group.  Also the permissions can be set for a particular board for groups.  Some permissions can be set by teh amout posts you have.

In short it could be several things.

The board permissions and individual permissions are fine, as post they have more then enough like I said all permissions look fine, I'm lost with this. can it just be smf "fart"

no or it would be on the SMF forums.  The permissions go deeper than most think but  I'm sure you have checked.
Is it a custom board? try useing the default theme and see if that makes a difference.  If any thng has been added like Tiny portal or what eer..try uninstaling that.
