That screenshot is from a Windows Vista beta (notice the black toolbar) [http://www.windowsvista.com]. IE7.. ugh... they should've stopped at IE1. I, like many others, am a die-hard FireFox user (except at work, can't install anything on the machines and IE is default). I hear that IE7 monitors every site that you go to... every site gets checked by MS server to see if the site is a known phishing site or not. Why bother setting privacy controls when MS logs everything anyways? I am a huge fan of
www.ie7.com however :P Here are some of the IE7 main features:
Tabbed Browsing ( stolen from FF )
RSS Compatibility ( stolen from FF )
Phishing Site Check ( afore mentioned )
Improved Printing Features ( about time )
.PNG Support (about time & stolen from FF)
ActiveX Disabled by default (finally)
Still only developed for Windows-only platform ( whew, why break other platforms? )
quote from article on WebMonkey: "Reports released this week have shown that IE7 Beta2 Preview is vulnerable to hijacking by malware..."
... It's just another MS product. I find it funny how they punish others for stealing their software, but they have no problem stealing ideas from others.
Just my thought of the day... I'll be sticking to my FireFox...
