I am looking to get new sound card Tired on onboard sound. I have been looking at the 2 cards below and can't seem to make a decision. the 2nd card in one of the reviews says it takes a hit in gamming because it puts some of the load on CPU but i have a 4 core processor so not sure how much of a load i would notice.

I have read review after review on the new Sound blaster stuff and Not really liking what i am seeing. Trying not to buy one of those as i use a X64 system and they don't seem to like them.

I've heard good things about HT Omega but never used one.  Also check out Asus Kitty, alot of people are using those now too and say they're comparable to the X-fi.  I'm with you on Creative, they've gone downhill and it's completely due to their driver support.

well i bought the azuen card from ebay for half the new egg price. Used but supposed to be good we will see. I will write a review of it when i get it next week.

well i got the azuen card and I must say even with a 2 speaker system i can definatly tell a difference. Seems to free up some system resources as well as during heavy gun fights in AA3 don't seem to slow me down like before. I will have more info when i get my new headphones sometime this week. Great Card went to site and downloaded latest driver and installed on a 64 bit Vista system without as much as a hiccup.
