Careful, but I guess Codemasters are a little behind in securing their product. From what I understand is you can get the game for free (Multiplayer only - cannot play the single player).
I will not put up the link for where you can get this as I bought my copy - but for those of you that would like to check it out - google or look at Codemasters

the more I read what they are saying in the CM forum is, there is no copy protection, no cd check. Buy the game, install it, give it to a friend, he installs it........ Wow, what a total Fak up. No wonder why Codemasters and Bohemian Interactive had a fall out - CM is all about stupid when publishing this game. Simply amazing

or smart marketing... get people hooked on the game, then push out required update (for servers) so that you have to buy the game if you have an invalid copy :P

... but i doubt it... just my 2 cents

There is nothing in it for security. People are giving their disk to friends and having a ball - no cd check nothing!

I got mine off Steam so it is a little different for me but one poster said he moved the files out of Steam and it plays. I have not verified this yet but It looks like some idiot exec dropped the ball here.
