MW2 -Steam OMG!

This is simply ridiculous! $60 on Steam?     

A game without the means.  From looking at this game it looks awesome but there will be no way to actually play it properly for us as a squad.  The server files will be missing!  Peer gaming sucks in a major way.
I suggest that you not buy this game until they either fix it or wait until Dec when the price will be an amazing $9.99 - That is the worth of a game that cannot be play in MP mode to me and 10's of thousands of others.

It's $60 retail as well.  They're charging you more for less, look at my MW2 post in here.  It's going to have a 16 player cap, meaning 8v8.  That is unacceptable for a modern day FPS.  CoD4 was only limited by bandwidth and 32, 38, even 40+ player servers were common.  The single player looks great, I've seen some leaked footage for it.  But I'm not paying $60 for essentially a SP game with a consoled down crippled multiplayer.  For anyone looking to buy this, keep in mind what you'll be supporting by doing so.  Many former CoD communities are now looking towards BF:BC2.  Check it out here: http://badcompany2.ea.com/#/home

EDIT:  Oh and you know what's funny TK.  The reason for the extra $10 price hike was stated to be due to piracy on the PC.  A few days ago, 2 weeks before release mind you, the Xbox version was cracked and footage of a few missions leaked.  That's right, the console version was cracked before the PC version.

Oh that is simply amazing Smooth and very funny. I cannot believe this gaming industry actually caters strictly to the console market as they do!  What is up with that?  The PC sales for a true PC game would be astronomical if done right. This is proven.  But today, the consoles are where the action is. Hey, I like consoles but not for FPS!  OMG playing a FPS such as this on a console would be a flat out joke.  The auto aim (Aim Assist) is not my cup of tea.  That is cheating plain and simple.
