BF-BC=No Dedi Servers!

I fakkin knew it!  

This is where the gaming industry sucks and sucks majorly.  The only dedicated server files are for "Trusted rental" partners.  This simply means you and I cannot host this game unless we shell out server rental fees.
This IS  a game breaker to me - It puts many squads back on the shelf to dell out $$ for a game that promised to have server files - only to dell out more $$ on a rental!  This is beyond BS! 

I saw this coming, my nephew warned me and it is true.  So we will play on someone elses server and play by their gawdy rules  

I am pissed!  Another $50 collecting dust!

How do they know that "not many squads hosted their own"? - That is purely speculation and does not make good the promise that EA stated.  They were keeping the PC Gaming community in tact?  Well for some maybe but not for quite a few others that do use server side files.

... i was 64 player servers... been playing on them so long, capping it at 32 players just doesn't make sense... hopefully they up this in the future... and I'm really hoping that they realize the community needs for dedicated servers and will provide those for us soon... hopefully they come through on their promises... I haven't given up on them yet...

... otherwise, I will still love BF2 lol...

Oh - The game rocks so far in single player, couldn't get on any or for that matter find any servers.  Something failing as far as that goes - I am sure they will have it fixed.
I am just mad that we can be lead so easily, I know it is all about the money but my gawd, paying for the server rental is quite like the horse leading us to water isn't it?

Well, I added a Kitty -MEOW- to the friends list .  I did log in last night and jump on a multi player game - it was fun.
Can you all log in to your Steam accounts - that way people can just join you in session possibly?

Oh it is a hoot, just be fun to find out where everyone is.  I sent Kitty an invite - not sure it was the right one - there were several Kitty's listed with meow in their name.  Dunno who is using what name out there - Thanks Jug, I will look for you tonight.

i like the single player much more than the multiplayer.  To much gliching and lag in the multi.
