Ele.  There are several skill videos here also.  I wonder what the system reqs on this are going to be, it looks quite a bit better than it did in the initial trailer.

awesome!

TEN SLOT SKILL BAR - - - - - -
The first five skills on the skill bar are not slotted directly by the player; instead they are determined by the player's choice of weapon and profession. Because of this, we can ensure that each weapon is balanced with a fun combination of skills. For example, a warrior wielding a mace and shield would get access to strong but slow damage skills like Obliterate, as well as powerful defensive skills such as Block and Shield Bash. A warrior wielding a greatsword would have access to a lot of movement-oriented skills like Rush, and area-of-effect skills like 100 Blades. In each case, the warrior's first five skills are determined by what he's holding in his hands. Weapon skills also take profession into account, so a warrior wielding a sword will have different skills than a different sword-wielding profession.

There's more here.

http://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/combat/part-two/

Some of the key points:

Quote
There are eight professions in Guild Wars 2, many of which will be familiar to fans of Guild Wars, as well as a few professions new to the Guild Wars world.

Quote
Currently there are three scholar professions, three adventurer professions and two soldier professions.

Quote
We included secondary professions in early versions of Guild Wars 2, but due to the unique mechanics of each profession and the increased role of race in character customization, they are no longer a feature of the game.

Quote
A player's choice of race is also an important decision which will affect his combat prowess.

I think it's still a long ways off.  Just speculating by the class reveals, it was 5 weeks between the Ele and War reveals, and there are still 6 classes to go.

yup, was figuring that.  I like the idea of chain linking and dual weapons though.

WOW! They are really upping the skills. Loving churning earth. Can't wait to see what they have in store for the necro and rit, not to mention ranger. Bet they have those pet skills, with some equally terrifying pets to cap, being nasty.

Here is some interesting speculation.  There will be 8 classes in GW2.  Anet has stated that 6/10 of the GW1 classes will return.  So 6/8 will be GW1 classes and 2/8 will be new classes.  GW2 will have 2 Soldier classes, 3 Adventurer classes, and 3 Scholar classes.  So far we have the following:

Soldier

1. War
2. ???

Adventurer

1. Ranger
2. ???
3. ???

Scholar

1. Ele
2. Necro
3. ???

So, 4/6 of the old classes have been revealed.  That leaves Monk, Para, Rit, Mes, Sin, and Derv to fill the remaining 2 spots of the old classes.  We can immediately eliminate Monk as Anet has said there are no dedicated healers.  Para and Derv can go since their weapons do not exist in GW2.  There is only 1 Scholar slot left so it will be between Mes and Rit.  Mes has been suggested in the concept art and we already have a summoning class in the Nec, so I think Rit is out.  Sin will probably fill an Adventurer slot as they too have been in the concept art.  So that leaves 1 Soldier slot and 1 Adventurer slot for the 2 new classes.  The general consensus around all the forums seems to be Paladin and some type of Gunner class.

I'll bet the final lineup looks like this:

War
Ele
Rang
Nec
Sin
Mes
Pala
Gunner
