According to Newegg that's a 5ms monitor.  That's probably not going to cut it for gaming, especially fast paced FPS games, as you'll get ghosting.  I had a 6ms monitor prior to this one and it had after images like crazy in games.  You can probably find a 2ms for the same price if not lower.  This is kind of a gray area as manufacturers all use different methods of measuring response time and alot aren't as stated.  Best bet is to search through reviews using Google or the Newegg customer reviews.

I have a 5ms response time monitor acer x223w and there is no ghosting on it at all. But i would definatly stick to the known brands. I have used ACER and LG and i loved them both.

LG is good, also heard good things about Dell and Asus.  Avoid BenQ, their customer service is crap.

Went with the Sata II.  Good idea.   So far the MAG monitor has no issues on BadCompany.  I can see myself getting killed in high detail now. I went with it because I got a good deal.  Enough that if it dint work out I can go to another later and put this one on a gaphics/video machine.

I added two fans (front and back).  MB has capablilty of adding up to 6 additional SATA drives along with two external USBs designed for that purpose.  This helps me with back up since I clone my two HDs once a month.  I need the extra seperate drives since this may become my gaphic/editing machine also unless I strike gold at the creek or oil in the pasture.

It went together with little problem.  Windows 7 is a dream and the case (an older Cooler Master i already had [matches my graphics computer]) has locking slides for the HD and DVD so it all went in on one side.  I broke a nail on the power supply which weighs a ton.   

Using my Logictech G15 and Razor Deathadder.  Very nice.  I can die a thousand deaths in style now.

Okay..arma.   Cant I intall it on my new machine, then just copy the arma folder and write over the files in the installed one. Isn't that like an update?  As long as the exe files are "tuned" to Win 7 ..umm that should work ...right?
