ran across this info, but it baffles me abit. and i'm always nervous messen with registry's. this is supposed to help the stuttering in COD:BlackOps if your running win7 and multiple cores. i currently run a triple core  32bit set up.  any help would be appreciated.

There was a similar thing for BC2 and World of warcrap.  Save a copy of the file you are changing and name it something else.  Then make changes.

It could help, it could not, but it's not going to solve it completely.  Only a patch from Treyarch will do that.  The problem with Black Ops, and also BC2 though not as bad, lies with poor optimization in terms of CPU overusage and GPU underusage.  More and more of these games are just ported over from console versions where the console can't match PC's in terms of GPU power so they route everything through the CPU.  I can monitor my CPU loads while playing and see 95%+ on all cores.
