ok ive spent a few months idling away with no ip connect i decided to fleshout my system , rather then go to pci express, i decided to revamp my kit as it blazes now and i dont see anything in the comming year to overwhelm it.

bear in mind there are next gen motherboards comming from asus and others for pcie and fibre connections so i will after a year be looking at this ,this actually gives me a bit of space to see just where the cpu wars end up and judge the maturity of SLI and PCI-E 16x or higher. and the possible sockett 940.

so here we go first up the graphics card

1. EVGA nvidia 7800GS CO SUPERCLOCKED...460 core/1350 mem

3. THE D LINK GAMERLOUNGE ROUTER with gamefuel

4.THE HIGHLY REGARDED D LINK D-Link DGE-530T

5.CORSAIR XMS 2GB Memory

6.Razer Copperhead mouse

7.lastly and not least, scince i virtually donated my dell lcd to my better half for her photoshop , i decided to port over my phillips to my daughter, so went for more space in inches and better specs i settled on the gateway after much deliberation and i am definately very pleased with its performance.

The GATEWAY 21" Widescreen High-Definition LCD.

now i will enjoy bieng broke .

but not yet lastly im still in the hunt for a new power supply, im yet undecided . either  ultra's new X2 or OCZ .

You won't be disappointed with EVGA Instinct, they make quality stuff and have the warranty and tech support to go with it.  Alot of people are going EVGA that had previously gone BFG or XFX.  The Quake 4 CD that came with my card was faulty, they told me to contact Activision first, I did and couldn't work anything out.  So the EVGA guy called me at home and told me he mailed out a replacement.  They were under no obligation legally to do that.  The cards run cool, mine is sitting at 38C (100F) idle, and I've never seen it go above 46C.

I can tell you that my OCZ Powerstream 600W has been stable so far.  The only complaint I have is it's not modular, so I had to tuck away the extra leads between the tray and case back.  That, and it costs alot.

Now if we could only get you into AMD...

rgr smooth, you mean back into amd, last one i owned was the very first x64 model, it tanked , if intel withdraws from the fight i will be left with no choice sry to say, and lack of choice sucks, but if i do go amd it will not be this generation i will wait for the new mobos to hit and see the new sockett and cpu fx 70?
