MR. NighEve says it works wonders for his Sony Laptop and WOW. I dunno. I did do the packets thing you wrote about earlier, Smooth. That helped quite a bit.

One of the tweaks I posted in that thread, as well as the app you linked above, deal with Nagle's algorithm; more specifically, disabling it. Here is a basic explination of what it does:
