This is definitely one of the best first person shooters I've ever played.  Picture the ballistics system from the Max Payne series as well as it's "bullet time", the rag-doll physics from UT2004, and the creepy atmosphere from Doom 3.  It has the best AI I've ever seen.  Enemies will cooperate, spray around corners, toss nades, reposition, and use cover wisely.  They are incredibly quick and will hunt you down.  I crept into a cubicle and played a message on the answering machine of a phone that was on the desk, I hear "check it out".  They send in a guy with a shotgun and he comes in blasting, I fire back, he falls back, I try to persue him and his buddies are waiting in the hallway ducking out from behind cubicle walls.  The game is very heavy on pixel shaders and dynamic lighting.  You need a very high end system to run it like it should be run.  Mine will usually hold around 80FPS in fights, as high as 150 just exploring levels, and as seen in this screenshot, pretty low when all the shader effects get going.  A word of caution though, it's pretty scary.  It's gotten me on a few occasions.  They have these ninja looking things with cloaks that get into the ceilings and walk up the walls.  One time one fell through the tiles in the office ceiling, ran across my path, and jumped through a window into the next room.  I blasted the hell out of everything in the office after banging my knee on the desk.

ROFLMAO!!! GREAT REVIEW SMOOTH. IT SOUNDS LIKE A GREAT GAME. I WISH I HAD A SCREAMER MACHINE TO PLAY IT ON. THATS TOO FUNNY ABOUT HITTING YOUR KNEE. ALL OF THE DOOM GAMES HAVE DONE THAT TO ME. I THINK IT WAS DOOM 3 THAT KEPT MAKING ME YELL/SCREAM OUT LOUD AND FALL OFF THE SIDE OF MY CHAIR BECAUSE THATS WHERE I HAD SCOOTED OVER TO SO I COULD CREEP AROUND. (OK OK IT WAS MORE OF A FULL BLOWN GIRLY SCREAM THAN A YELL/SCREAM) THANKS FOR THE POST SMOOTH.

I love the premise of the game too. I wonder if there is a killer multi-player?

I don't know about MP Voo.  There is just your basic set of weapons: pistol (dual wield possible), shotgun, smg, assault rifle, rocket launcher, repeating cannon, rail gun, and many types of mines and nades.  Like D3, the shotgun will be your weapon of choice for most of the areas.
