Internet Sensation!

If you love wildlife then you will love this!  Someone has mounted a camera here in Iowa at Decorah that is viewing a live Bald Eagles nest from only a couple of feet away from the nest!  The nest is a whopping 6ft long and they said weighs an estimated weight of around a ton as a whole.  The mother is expecting the babies to hatch at any moment.  It is live..you can watch it streaming, the wind is howling and it is purely addicting!!!  Go check it out and don't miss this one.  It is a treat of a lifetime.

Such a wonderful thing to witness!
Thank you BB.  Quite a breath of fresh air in todays climate I must say.

She has been very active tonight, watching for about 25 minutes now (11:45 Pac) she has rolled her three eggs twice. 
I do not know if that really is a she or a he.  I do know (unlike some males of the humans species) some birds such as this the male plays a true roll in this.  Others do not.  Have you heard? 

They have a great thread going on - straight up eagle talk according to the rules.  I haven't gone there yet.

One has hatched!  She nuzzels the nest up around it and keeps constant attention on it.  You can also see a rabbit in the lower left of the screen.  It was really visible yesterday, but has sort of moved stuff over on it some today.  Very cool i must say.

KUDOS to BB, I think I have more time on that stream than on here LOL. 

Thanks, I did edit the boring parts.  Very proud parents those two are.  Waiting to see if the other two eggs hatch.  I understand they were laid several days apart.
