ok, i bought a new router.(wife insisted  ) however, since connecting to it, my download speed has reduced 3mb's. if i connect direct to my modem it's maxed out @ 12.87mb's. is there a setting in the router i need to change to fix this? also, i cant get the wife's laptop to connect using wireless. and when black is down, he cant connect either? even tho they have the password correct.

Ok i don't know if that router has a default setting for your speeds or it and be set to auto or you can manually set band width speeds if they do i would think that's kinda dumb but you never know.
B=11meg, G=54meg, N=300 i wouldn't think there is even a setting with that stuff being reverse compatible. but i would look in to it.
