I think it's getting more commercialized than it used to be, which is both good and bad.  I don't realy like having to alt-tab out to look up something in a manual.  I'd rather have a printed copy to refer to.  It seems like the console and pc markets are merging somewhat and developers are trying to apply the same console thinking to a pc title.

I have a sony DVD/R/CD/RW 3 years old  and a toshiba DVD/RW/CD/RW less then a year old
34.00 for that one works great. so does the sony i payed 30 for that one as well. hell i still have a 8X burner that still works great ive only had one totaly fail ever that was a old 24X CD/R. I just keep cleaning them when it's time . They will last forever if you just get a fricken screw driver and a Q Tip. Not a POS CD cleaner.
