From some of the initial gaming benchmarks I'm seeing, not only did AMD fail to topple Intel's i7 and i5's, bulldozer matches if not performs worse than AMD's own Phenom 2 X6's and X4's.  How do you release a new cpu that performs the same or worse than your previous line?  I bet some heads are going to roll at AMD over this one.  I was considering building an AM3+ system, but now that i5 2500k is looking better and better.
