Just to let everyone know if your having problems with Your ISP Loosing packets U can test it at www.dslreports.com hit tools then do the Line Packet Loss Test. U will have to create an account with them to do this but I am posting My results along with Voodoo's U will see that Voodoo is loosing 100% of his packets in several hops accross his ISP. That is Not good and is why hes getting all the CI's. Fould this while reserching his problem. Hope it helps Voo.

ahh welcome to my hood voo!

the hood of packett loss and isp denial.
'
ok 1st off download "pingplotter" ill try to attach it here, enter an ip within your providers network or backbone, then you will have evidence of the packett loss that you can save in pl format text to send it to your help desk

try this speedtest , it timestamps and diagnoses isp throughput, use smarttest.

Thanks, Stinky. I have a tech coming over Monday moring, he will definitely see this.

Whoa, Gunner. You have some problems there. Looks like one of your local hops is giving you burps. Get with Kitty and he'll explain which tweaks you can do using a downloadable tweaker. It may not help your packet loss there, though.

rgr voo iv had 4 techs so far same bs from em all... remind him there is a difference between "having a signal".....and "signal strength and duration"., use the pingplotter right in front of him so he can see the packett loss, see my techs say hey you have a good signal i can detect it,the office can see it,, but thats no indication of duration or power, i drop out after 530 pm complete tank.

i use the ping plotter and i ping the road runner hubs right in front of em , like 60 percent loss, and there like uuhhhhmmm??

use the test my net speedtest i linked above, its one of the few endorsed by cable isp 's  do dont want to be running a combo or dsl tester , dedicated cable.

I could be wrong, but I think a 100% packet loss can also be a router that is programmed not to respond to an automated ping or trace route test.  Not saying it isn't part of VooDoo's problem.

Gunner that 59% loss at that one LAX hop is bad JuJu.  That's induced lag in a big way.
