well, i put together a 64 bit 939 pc with a 6800 xtreme card, and i here the HD booting up but i have no monitor. ive checked everything 3 or 4 times and still no luck. the card im useing has only got 2 dvi jacks and i used the adapter that came with it to hook up my crt. the adapter is good, i tried it in my other system and it works, so im guessing the new card is bad or the mother baurd. any input would be nice before i start sending this stuff back . tks

Make sure the adapter is not upside down, same with the monitor cable. I also use a DVI->VGA adapter on my rig. Also make sure the monitor is plugged in Fast. Not trying to make fun, but it happens. Check to be sure the card is properly seated in the slot. Also look to see if the card requires it's own power lead, it will be a socket on the end of the card.
