See You In the Hills!

« on: March 19, 2006, 02:36:23 PM »

Some peeps who call themselves "religious", sometimes do not understand religion.  I would like to take a moment to clarify, a few points.  Lets look at Judaism, Muslims, and Christians.
Before you hang up the phone, or jump out of here, please take a look because it may help some of your unknowns.

Jews are monothiests.  They view God as a single invisible entity.  Most Christians view God as a Trinity.  A single entity with 3 personalities.  A Father, A Son, and a Holy Spirit.

Jews generally consider actions and behavior to be of primary importance: beliefs come out of actions.  Christians believe actions, derive from beliefs.

Jews do not accept the original sin in the garden of Eden.

Judaism affirms the inherent goodness of the world and its people as creations of God.

Jewish believers are able to sanctify their lives and draw closer to God by fullfilling divine commandments.

Jews do not recognize the need for a savior as an intermediary for God.

This is why Jews don't necessarily take to Christians.  We are taught that we do need Jesus and in all reality, we know we need Jesus.  They believe he was just another man.  Here are some more points in paragraph form.  Similar, but not the same.  Pay attention, I will get to my point in a while.

God exists.  God is One and unique.  God is eternal.  Prayer is to be directed to God and no other.  The words of the prophets are true.  Moses was the greatest of the prophets and his prophecies are true.  The first 5 books were-- GIVEN-- to Moses.  There will be no other Torah.  God knows the thoughts and deeds of men.  God will reward the good and punish the wicked.  The Messiah will come.  The dead will be ressurected.

Some regard Jesus as just a moral person.  Some as a false prophet.  And some won't even say his name.

A Muslim is a follower of Islam.  Islam teaches there is one God, and the God of Islam is the God of Judaism and Christianity.  The Islam religion was founded by a man named Mohammed, Allah's messenger.  The Muslim's say that God's name is Allah.  I believe the religion started around 600.  They will tell you that it is BLASPHEMOUS to describe Jesus Christ as the Son of God.

All in all, if you look at the Muslim writings you will ultimately find out it that it is like the King James Version of the Bible, with twists to fit what they want to believe.  I believe it was intrusted to Mohammed to get it to the people, but the writings are not close to what God laid out or the sayings of Jesus.  According to them, Christians, followers of Jesus must die, so that Allah be glorified.

NOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?  3 different beliefs and there is no way they will gel.  I told you in the last article a little about Interfaithism.  I told you to run from it.  Here is what you are being told to accept by those who have power.   Read this link, its short.

http://www.boston.com/news/world/europe/articles/2006/03/16/christians_jews_muslims_must_work_together_pope/?rss_id=Boston.com+%2F+News

This new Interfaithism, wants you to worship "your God" side by side.  To me this is a perfect example that they don't know Jesus.  They know "about" Jesus but they don't know Him.  Jesus is God.  Right now we have freedom of religion.  You have your choice, but in only a couple of years...."maybe sooner" you will be forced to worship, give allegiance to, bow as to say, to the World Religion.

The Word of God says, thou shalt believe in the Lord thy God.  Thou shalt have no other Gods before me.  I am the Lord God and there is none else.  I am the Alpha and the Omega.  I am the First and I am the Last.  ( that means none in between, no additions to etc. ) and when John the revelator turn to see who spoke it says "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending saith the Lord, which IS  and which WAS, and which IS TO COME, THE ALMIGHTY!

His name has always been Jesus, Jesus died for us, Jesus rose from the grave, Jesus lives today, Jesus is coming back for those have obeyed him.  We should talk to Jesus, pray to Jesus, be baptized in Jesus, look for Jesus return.  This whole thing is all about Jesus...not us.

The World system will be changing soon.  I don't want to be here, as i want to go with the Lord Jesus when He comes back for his bride....the church identified with his Name.  If you have not taken His name in baptism, get'r done.  For there is only one name given under heaven by which we must be saved....its his...Jesus.

March 6th 1994 at 19:30 hours is mine - do you know yours?  That is  the date and time I accepted the lord and was reborn through baptism.  I can tell you there is no other feeling than what goes through you at that time.  I can tell you now, the burden of all your fears and concerns will be lifted. You have been lifted and can be proud that our God will stand by you no matter what your past has given you.  Emotional, you bet. That is my ID to our Lord that he gave me, not from the world but from God.

Thank BB, you are an inspiration to all who come here.

Religion is man's poor attempt at pleasing God.  In other words works/law.

FAITH is the key to the Christian Belief system..not religion.  Yes we do good deeds because of our faith (Faith without works/works without faith, the bible condemns both)..Yes we go to worship and pracitce our religon.

I believe Christs doesnt want RELIGION He wants faith. He wants us to practice or faith and get outside the Church and the church basketball court.  He wants us to love God and people and spread His word.  God made the plan of salvation simple and complete.

I too can point to a time at 9 years old that I accepted and was baptized and youre right..its an experience no one can explain.  I was saved to eternity then, but my faith grows..it's not just that one time but al the time since then that is undescribable.  All the time I have recieved strength to over come..to be forgiven again and again, to see His work, as I know you have experienced TK. .

The devil BELIEVES Christ exists but does not put his faith n Him.  He knows God's law..he knows how awsome God is..but that not enough.  Faith in God's Son is key.
