smooth i have it ...i love it ....but then ive always loved the GR series, this version however is a vast departure from the previous games, it way more modern and next generation like, sys demands are steeeeep!, the online play is fun fun fun, but not on a large scale unit format , it doesnt offer a battlefield like BF2 , more like a RVS setup, soon as the map makers get at it mybee it will.
still the game is a classic! through and through. 5 stars. <partyguys>

Is it out yet? I show the PC release date being May 5th. Did you get it for Xbox or something?

i havnt got the call yet.......i went down and bought it for ps2 , gave it to my nephew....however he plays spiderman 24/7, so u could say i play it ....for him he.
multiplayer is great...not much in the way of maps yet ..there is talk of an editor or customs for ps2 and xbox live.
and you know when the pc mod heads get it they will go nuts on it, graphics are nuts...
i did slap 40 bucks down on the dvd version 2 days later once i saw it on a reg tv from the ps , then i can only wait on what it will be like on pc format. but reqs are stiff as hell.
http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=281314
but no call yet ....given the pot smoking employees at my local gamestop i prolly wont get a call at all as usual.

As far as I know, it's one of the first games to make use of a physics card. See my post in the hardware section for an example of it. I'm going to try to get ahold of the demo this Friday and see how it runs. I see Best Buy listing the minimum req's as this:
PC Processor Type IntelŪ PentiumŪ 4 processor or equivalent
PC Processor Speed 2GHz
PC Operating System Windows 2000, Windows XP
PC System Memory 512MB RAM
PC Hard Drive Space 5GB
PC Video 128MB DirectX 9-compliant Shader 2.0 video card
PC Sound Card DirectX 9-compliant sound card
PC Drive Type and Speed CD-ROM 12x
PC Modem 64 Kbps
That's about average, but as we know, minimum req's are often misleading.

you know it!,,i would at least double the ram req, gr forums have the total throughput at over 2 gigs, so i would say to max out this game one might need 4 gigs ram p4 3ghz or amd equiv,6800gt or better, ati x800gto or better, not real sure on the the whole physics thing, sli seems to be occupying everyones attention, crossfire ect, i dont see a whole new structure taking hold , possibly on a few select games , but it would need wide support,if and when ati or nvidia either endorse/incorporate this tech or actually make a phsx solution , it might grab hold.

Ran the demo today. Pretty neat. Graphics look great, but you'll need at least 2X AA / 4X AF to smooth out the edges. Lots of dynamic lighting and particle effects. Sounds great, shots echo through the streets, grenade blasts set off car alarms. The shootouts are fun, you can't just blast your way through. The weapons have a kick to them, requiring you to fire in semi or bursts. My only complaint so far is that you move real slow when not in sprint mode, very annoying. It's extremely system hungry, brought mine to it's knees a couple times.

As in all of the Tom Clancy series, they put in a random enemy generator. Each time you play a map through the bad guys will be in different positions. Man are they smart too, they work together well. Here are a few screens:

This is a long shot Jug, but did you install the Ageia drivers when you installed the demo? Even if you don't have the Ageia hardware, you have to install those drivers. It's stupid, I know, but I think you have to have them for the demo to run.
